DREAMS COME TRUE Concert
20th Anniversary DREAMS COME TRUE CONCERT TOUR 2009 "Dori Shitemasu?" I downloaded this from jpopsuki, but it was a Blue-Ray rip and since my PC can't handle super-mega-awesome-HD files I made an .avi from it. This is an awesome concert, for both fans and non-fans of DREAMS COME TRUE. The 20th anniversary concert, filmed at the Saitama Super Arena, has an amazing song selection with special medleys to remember or discover those older songs of them. Although I must say this, Miwa is the best part of this concert. She shines every second. Two and a half hours of pure DREAMS COME TRUE, let's hope for 20 years more ^^ Setlist, screencaps and download link @ my journal. Open for all but comments are really nice ^^ |

Oh, well. "Let it Go" is Yuna Ito's new single. First at all: this song is a pop rock number and was produced by Koichi Tabo, former guitarist of Superfly band (yah, she wasn't a solo singer). Since I first heard the song, I thought it was a garbage leftover that Ochi would feel ashamed to sing but it has certainly grown into me. It's a real nice song, she sounds amazing on it and the acoustic feeling it gives is like a breath of fresh air. The b-side, "Happy Days", sounded horrid in the preview but is really nice. It's a mixture of acoustic with songs like "BREEEEEEZIN" and "Urban Mermaid", I really love it. o_o Overall, you may enjoy this single a lot – many other people hated "Happy Days" but I'm not one of them.

[SINGLE - KPOP] f(x) ▪ The First Single - Chu~♡
OGM the full thing is out alreadey~ "Chu~♡" is SM newcomer f(x)'s first physical release, in this case, a single. It doesn't include "LA chA TA" or even "Chocolate Love" but see that this is only a single, maybe their debut album does. Anyway anyhow, I love me some of do it do it Chu~♡. This song is addictive and so cute. It's not cute-retarded, it's cute-cutey. They don't need to hold master lollipops to look cheerful. "Step By Me" is another cute/poppish song; I like it too – not that much – but I still do. "You Are My Destiny" is a duet between Luna and Krystal and it's an effin gorgeous song. Luna finally shows her awesome vocal skills. Hope she gets more lines on their upcoming songs because she definitely has the best voice on the group – indeed.
For a newcomer, this single is pretty much ah... forgettable – although I like it – for being so cute/not bringing anything new, but at the same time, who knows, they may get their own final public and fanbase with this. A revelation! :) I downloaded the latest Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate episode because of Wheesung but ended up liking a newbie singer after watching it. This newbie is Seo In Guk, who was the winner of the Mnet Super Star K, a show similar to American Idol. Seo In Guk was so adorable in Chocolate!!! When he smiles, his eyes just become like this: ^^. Cutie! Kim Jung Eun surprised Seo In Guk with Wheesung, who is Seo's idol. He was such a fanboy, especially during his duet with Wheesung. <3 Seo In Guk's music is very much Western-sounding R&B, like Chris Brown's songs. His songs are very-Ria. hehe! Recommending it~ My current fave is Run to Me. :) Young Love is so nice too! Hmmm... I don't know if I can afford to "like" another singer. The last one I liked was AJOO and he has again disappeared from the face of the planet! Where are you, AJOO?!?! Se7en, please come back!

I've never been a fan or something of this group but okay. "Conti Ukiss" is U-Kiss third mini album and the title track is "Man Man Ha Ni", which is a common and catchy Electronica song. It's quite forgettable since it sounds like a rip-off of Brave Brothers' "Invisible" (the track also features and was produced by him) and BEG's "Abracadabra", but okay, let's listen some more. The intro is fucking awesome though (it uses that gun sound from After School's "Bad Guy", Brave Brothers are rly in a roll). It's so powerful.

I'm so in love with this song! It moves you even though you don't understand what the lyrics are saying, and that I think, proves that music is a universal language. In this performance, Jeong Yeop (Brown Eyed Soul) and Wheesung battled it out on who can do the best falsetto! WAHAHA! Just kidding~ Great performance from the two!
